Barcis, Italy. December 7th, 2013. I took this last year when Erika (HtBlack) and I visited the restaurant we would dine at for our wedding reception. We went with her father and it was the first time I'd seen Barcis with fresh snow on the mountains. I don't know why I've never submitted the work, I guess I just forgot about it. Which is unfortunate because it really is one of my favorite photographs from Barcis. Highly recommended for anyone travelling through northern Italy.

I also had trouble choosing between the landscape and waterscape category as I consider it fitting for both of them. In the end I choose waterscape, I don't know why. Maybe I just appreciate the lake in this shot more. M'eh.
